We design and build custom software. That covers mobile apps for iOS and Android, web applications, custom and enterprise platforms, IoT products and AI and machine learning systems. Most clients come to us with a business problem rather than a spec sheet, so the work usually starts with figuring out what should be built before anyone writes code. We stay involved through design, development, QA, launch and the years of support that follow.
AppZoro started in 2016 inside Atlanta Tech Village. Sam Agarwal founded the company and still runs it as CEO. He also serves as a Mobile App Technology Advisor at Atlanta Tech Village and was recognized on The Apex Society's Power 30 Under 30 list in 2018. As of 2026 we have been building software for a full decade, with more than 16 industry recognitions since 2018 and a team that has grown to over 50 specialists, our development kept in house.
Our headquarters is at Atlanta Tech Village, 3423 Piedmont Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. We are a US company with a delivery team across two countries, which is how clients get daytime coverage on their side plus engineering hours that keep moving after the Atlanta office goes quiet.
Solo founders with a rough sketch, funded startups, SMEs and established enterprises modernizing older systems. Over ten years we have built for a university college of pharmacy, a court technology company, a national vehicle history platform, hotel revenue software, textile manufacturing and plenty of consumer apps. Many clients have stayed with us for five, six and seven years, which is usually the more telling number.
More than 250 products across 30 plus industries and roughly 5 million lines of code written along the way. Our on time delivery rate sits at 90 percent. We publish that number rather than claiming 100 percent, because software projects change scope and pretending otherwise would not survive a reference check.
The portfolio holds selected work from more than 200 builds and you can filter it three ways: by type (web or mobility), by industry and by technology. So if you want to see only the Flutter projects, or only the finance work, you can get there in two clicks instead of reading every write up.

We are building formal partnerships with AWS, Anthropic, Salesforce and Microsoft to support our AI practice. They are in progress rather than complete, so we are not going to put badges on the site yet. On the delivery side we have worked in AWS, Azure, GCP and Firebase environments for years, which matters more day to day than a logo does.

Full platforms. Plenty of our work has no consumer app at all. Judicial Innovations is a browser based court platform. ADR Boost is a revenue tool for hotels. Apex Textile needed a website that actually sold. If the answer to your problem is an internal system that only forty employees will ever open, we will build that instead of talking you into an app.
On mobile, Flutter and React Native for cross platform work, plus native Swift and Kotlin when a product needs it. On web, React and Node.js are our most common stack. Cloud work leans on AWS and Firebase, including serverless architectures. On the AI side we work with custom LLMs, NLP, RAG pipelines and voice automation. Yes, and we do it more often than you would think. Rescue work starts with an audit: we read the code, map what actually exists against what you were told exists and give you an honest assessment. Sometimes the right answer is to continue the build. Sometimes parts need to be rewritten. We tell you which one it is before you commit to a budget.
Both. For a first version we push hard on cutting scope to the features that prove the idea, because a lean launch teaches you more than a large one. For companies already in market, we work the other direction and build for the load, integrations and compliance the product needs on day one.

Yes. We built a clinical study app for Mercer University's College of Pharmacy that had to satisfy the compliance demands of academic medical research, and a court platform that had to respect the procedural rules of multiple jurisdictions. Regulated work changes how a project runs more than what it costs. Requirements get locked earlier, documentation is heavier and QA takes longer, and we plan for that from the start.
Yes. Hospitality is our lead vertical for the AI era and we work with Sara Hospitality, a US hotel furniture manufacturer that sells FF&E to procurement teams running renovations. The two sides need different software. Operators want revenue management, guest facing apps and systems that keep the property running. Suppliers want catalogs, quoting and ordering flows that hold up when someone is specifying furniture for 200 rooms at once. We build for both.
Usually yes, and if we cannot, we will say so. Being honest about it costs us less than pretending. Ask on the first call and we will send the two or three closest projects, including what went wrong and how we handled it. In our experience the transferable part is rarely the industry anyway. It is whether a team has solved that class of technical problem before.
Custom LLM development, AI agents, retrieval augmented generation pipelines, NLP, AI chatbots, generative AI tools and voice automation for customer facing and internal operations. We also handle managed AI operations for companies that want to deploy AI without standing up an internal team for it.
Yes. Most requests we get are not for a general purpose model but for something narrower and more useful: an agent that works inside your workflow, or a system that answers questions from your own documents accurately. RAG usually beats fine tuning for that second one and it costs less to run. We will tell you which approach fits before quoting the bigger option.
That is the most common AI request we get. Nobody wants to rebuild a working platform to add one intelligent feature. The work is mostly integration: connecting to your existing data, deciding what the model is allowed to see and building fallbacks for when it gets something wrong. Where your current system is too closed for that, we will tell you what has to change.
Both, and consulting often saves clients money. Some AI ideas do not survive an honest look at the data behind them. We would rather spend two weeks proving that than six months building something that cannot work. When the idea does hold up, you get a scope and a plan instead of a pilot that quietly stalls.
Data handling gets agreed in writing before any model touches your information: what gets used, where it lives, how long it stays and whether anything leaves your environment. For sensitive workloads we keep processing inside infrastructure you control. If you have internal AI usage policies, send them over early so we build inside them instead of retrofitting later.
The AI practice is new. Shipping production software is not. Our second decade is AI first and we are building partnerships with AWS, Anthropic, Salesforce and Microsoft to support it. The difference we bring is boring and useful: a lot of AI firms measure their experience in months, while we have spent ten years on systems that had to work on day one.
Both, and the choice depends on your product. Native gets used when an app leans hard on device hardware, heavy graphics or platform specific behavior. Cross platform makes more sense when you need iOS and Android from one codebase on a startup budget. Yes. We prepare store assets, handle the review process and deal with rejections when they happen, because they do. Apple in particular will push back on account deletion flows, subscription language and privacy disclosures. Having someone who has been through it a few hundred times saves you a few weeks.
Yes. Internal apps have a different set of problems: single sign on, device management, offline behavior for staff in the field and integration with systems that were never designed to be accessed from a phone. We build for those constraints rather than pretending an internal tool is a consumer app.

Yes. That means tenant isolation, role based permissions, admin tooling, usage tracking, subscription billing and a plan structure that will not fall apart when you add an enterprise tier later. We get the billing and permissions model right early, since both are painful to retrofit once customers are paying.
Discovery and requirements, architecture, UI/UX, frontend and backend development, integrations, QA, deployment, then support. Custom means the software follows your process rather than forcing your team to work the way a packaged tool assumes. That is the reason most clients choose it, usually after outgrowing a subscription product.
Yes. Legacy work needs a plan more than a rewrite. We map what the current system does, find out what still earns its keep and pick a route: rebuild, gradual migration, or a modern layer around a core that works fine. Big bang rewrites fail more often than they succeed, so we avoid them unless there is no alternative.
We do, and they are underrated. Half the value of a customer facing product comes from the internal screens your team uses to run it: refunds, moderation, reporting, support lookups. When those are missing, your staff ends up doing manual work forever. We scope internal tooling into the build rather than leaving it for a later phase that never arrives.
AWS is our primary platform, including serverless architectures, and we work with Firebase and Google Cloud as well as Azure. Judicial Innovations runs on a serverless setup across AWS and Firebase. We pick infrastructure around your actual traffic and budget, not the largest architecture we can draw.
Yes. Typical work includes CRM and ERP systems, payment gateways like Stripe, authentication providers, analytics, communication tools and industry specific platforms such as property management or EHR systems. Where a vendor has no usable API, we find another route and tell you honestly what that route costs to maintain.
Yes. We build documented REST and GraphQL APIs, including versioning, authentication, rate limiting and the documentation your developers need to actually use them. If the API is a product you sell, we treat it like one, with developer experience as part of the design rather than an afterthought.
By being honest about the numbers first. Most products do not need architecture built for millions of users, and paying for that early wastes money you need elsewhere. We design for a realistic growth curve, then make sure the parts that are expensive to change later, the data model and the service boundaries, will not block you when volume does arrive.
Agile, run in sprints with demos you can actually click. Every sprint ends with working software rather than a status report, which keeps surprises small and lets you change direction while it is still affordable. For fixed scope work we still run sprints internally so progress stays visible.
Functional testing against requirements, cross device and cross browser testing, integration testing, regression testing before each release and security checks. QA engineers are involved from the requirements stage, not handed a build at the end. Finding a broken assumption in a requirement costs an hour. Finding it in production costs a release.
Yes, when a product needs it. We test against your expected concurrent load plus headroom, watch how the system behaves under stress and fix what breaks first. For products with launch spikes, an event app or a seasonal retail release, this stops being optional.
Code reviews on every pull request, shared standards per stack, automated linting and tests in the pipeline, and a technical lead accountable for the architecture. It also helps that our developers are in house and have worked together for years, so quality does not reset every time a contractor rotates in.
You report it and we triage by severity. Anything blocking users or revenue gets worked immediately. Defects in work we delivered are fixed as part of the warranty period, not billed as new work. That distinction gets written into the agreement so nobody argues about it later.

You do. On full payment, all source code, designs, documentation and IP created for your project transfer to you. Code lives in your repositories where possible from day one and you keep the credentials. Any third party libraries or services get listed with their licenses so there are no surprises during a due diligence review.
Least access needed, and only for as long as it is needed. Credentials go through a password manager rather than email or chat. Production data is not copied into development environments; we use anonymized or synthetic data instead. Access gets revoked when someone rolls off the project.
We have built for regulated environments, including academic medical research and court systems. On payments we integrate certified providers so card data never lands in your infrastructure, which keeps your PCI scope small. Where a formal certification or audit is required, we build to the controls and work alongside your compliance advisors, and we will be clear about which parts of the program are ours and which are yours.
It depends on scope, and any firm number offered before a conversation is a guess. A focused first version costs a fraction of a multi platform product with integrations and compliance requirements. Tell us what you are trying to do and we will break down a real estimate by phase, so you can see what each part costs and cut what is not worth it.
Feature count and complexity first. After that: how many platforms you need, how many external systems you integrate with, whether the design is custom or built on an existing system, real time and AI features, and compliance requirements. Changes mid build matter too, which is why we push for clarity in discovery instead of discovering scope in month four.
A tightly scoped MVP is usually a few months. A full platform with integrations takes longer, and enterprise work with compliance review takes longer still. You get a phase by phase timeline with dates during scoping. Our on time delivery rate is 90 percent, and when something threatens a date you hear it from us early rather than on the deadline.
Yes. Fixed price for defined scope, time and materials for evolving products, monthly retainers for dedicated teams and ongoing support. Larger projects can be split into phases with separate approvals, which lets you fund the next stage after you have seen the last one working.

Monitoring and uptime checks, bug fixes, security patches, OS and framework updates, store compliance updates for mobile apps, performance tuning and an agreed response time for urgent issues. Small enhancements usually fit inside the retainer. Larger features get scoped separately so nobody is surprised by an invoice.
Yes. Long term relationships are normal here, with several clients five to seven years in. Once we know your codebase, adding features gets faster and cheaper than starting with a new vendor who has to learn everything first.
We hand it over properly. That means documentation, architecture notes, repository and infrastructure access, a walkthrough with your engineers and a support window while they get comfortable. Some clients hire an internal team once a product matures, and that is a good outcome, not a threat.
Whatever you have is enough. The problem you are solving, who it is for, any must have features, systems it needs to connect to, your timeline and a rough budget range. Sketches, competitor examples and a doc are all useful. If you only have an idea and no documents, that is fine too. We have started plenty of projects from a whiteboard photo.
